The Ukraine war has cost Russia the most.

The Russian army has suffered the largest losses since the beginning of the war in Ukraine over the past two weeks. This is reported by the British Ministry of Defense in a daily intelligence report.

The department made such conclusions on the basis of the report of the Ukrainian General Staff. “While Defense Department intelligence is unable to verify Ukraine’s methodology, the trends that the data illustrates are likely accurate,” the report notes.

Over the past week, Russia has been losing an average of 824 soldiers a day. This is the highest figure since March last year. It is more than four times higher than the figure recorded in June-July 2022.

The increase in casualties is likely due to a number of factors, including a lack of trained personnel, coordination and resources at the front. As an example, the British military cites the actions of the Russian military in Ugledar and Bakhmut.

The offensive in Ugledar began in late January and quickly stalled, military bloggers and Z-publics complained.  “It seems that all the events of the past year passed by our generals. However, since some of them are (at least from the moment they entered military schools) complete cretins, all the mistakes that have been made before are exemplarily repeated, ” the former Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Girkin was indignant .

Russian troops fled from Ugledar, having lost at least 30 pieces of equipment in one battle,   British intelligence noted in a report on Friday.
