White House: US is Ready to Take Risks in the Issue of Arms Supplies to Kyiv

The United States and NATO allies are ready to take risks in the issue of military assistance to Ukraine, said Jake Sullivan, Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security Affairs. About it writes RIA Novosti.

“We are ready and will be ready to take risks in helping Ukraine,” Sullivan said during a speech at the Aspen Security Forum.

At the same time, he noted that the United States and allies are obliged to think over Moscow’s reaction to arms supplies. This is important for maintaining global stability, Sullivan said.

On July 19, the Pentagon announced a new $1.3 billion military aid package to Ukraine. It included NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems, drones, ammunition, communications and demining equipment .
