“We are ready and will be ready to take risks in helping Ukraine,” Sullivan said during a speech at the Aspen Security Forum.
At the same time, he noted that the United States and allies are obliged to think over Moscow’s reaction to arms supplies. This is important for maintaining global stability, Sullivan said.
On July 19, the Pentagon announced a new $1.3 billion military aid package to Ukraine. It included NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems, drones, ammunition, communications and demining equipment .
