Zelensky Acknowledged the Low Pace of the Offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, during a speech at the Aspen Security Forum in the United States, admitted that the pace of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not live up to expectations, media reports.

Zelensky explained the low pace of the offensive by the fact that the command is trying to protect its personnel. According to him, the officers do not want to “throw people under the tanks.”

The President of Ukraine noted that Russia has created a powerful defense system. He stated that the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is slowed down by numerous minefields.

In an article for 19Fortyfive, retired NATO officer Stavros Atlamazoglou wrote that the Ukrainian army in the Svatovo-Kremennaya section is losing ground under the onslaught of Russian troops, Radiotochka NSN reports .
