The Russians Changed Their Tactics on the Kupyansk-Liman Line: They Abandoned Meat Assaults and a Barrage of Fire


The Russian military has changed tactics in the Liman-Kupyansk direction. There has been a lull there lately.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces Ilya Yevlash on the air of a national telethon.

He noted that there is now a lull on the Kupyansk-Liman line. There are no military clashes there, but heavy shelling and air raids continue.

“The Russian Federation has no successes. The enemy has changed tactics: instead of meat assaults they use artillery, there are no barrages of fire, they are saving ammunition. Intelligence monitors the tightening of their reserves. We must be ready at any moment,” the speaker said.

According to him, over the past 24 hours, 514 shellings and 11 air raids were recorded in the Liman-Kupyansk direction. The Ukrainian military destroyed 48 invaders, a T-72 tank, an MT-LB tractor, Msta-B and Msta-S artillery systems, a Uragan rocket system, two Grad systems, two Lancet kamikaze drones and truck with ammunition.

Situation at the front

Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar reported that the Russians are restoring their strength and replenishing lost equipment in the Liman-Kupyansk direction.

Let us note that our fighters continue the counter-offensive in the Bakhmut and Melitopol directions. So, they recently liberated Andreevka, Donetsk region . However, active fighting continues in the Bakhmut direction.
