Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis emphasized that Greece has always been an integral part of the Western world. In a conversation with Yannis Pretenteris, the publisher of To VIMA, Mitsotakis closed the two-day conference titled “Metapolitefsi 1974-2024: 50 Years of Greek Foreign Policy.” The event was organized by To VIMA, the Council for International Relations, and the Delphi Economic Forum, reflecting on Greece’s diplomatic history over the past five decades.
During the conference, Mitsotakis discussed Greece’s foreign policy successes under the New Democracy government, comparing it with the shortcomings of previous administrations. He highlighted the importance of continuity and strategic decision-making in shaping Greece’s position on the international stage.
Looking ahead, Mitsotakis shared his vision for Greece’s future, stressing the need for continued progress in foreign policy and regional stability.
