Tests of a vertical take-off aircraft type drone designed for the needs of a special military operation have begun in Primorye, Governor Oleg Kozhemyako said.
Kozhemyako wrote in his Telegram channel that test flights of the new drone had begun. According to him, Primorye engineers have created an aircraft-type UAV with vertical take-off, this principle greatly expands the capabilities of the device.
The authorities of the region also reported that Primorye was launching mass production of drones for the needs of a special operation. The design of the drone weighing 1.5 kilograms provides for a release mechanism for dropping cargo at the enemy’s deployment site. It was also reported that the manufacturer is ready to produce up to 30 aircraft-type drones.RIA «Novosti» .
